It seems like almost everyone wants to read or write about a love affair between Vash and Wolfwood and in fact, this story was planned as a Vash/Wolfwood fiction, but a couple of funny things happened along the way.....
Quite a few Japanese fansites suggest that Midvalley and Wolfwood were lovers. I was just trying to answer the question with the small seven chapter story I envisioned of how a noble character like Wolfwood might have fallen in love with Midvalley the Hornfreak before moving on to Vash the Stampede.
Somewhere along the line, I ended up writing the story in the first person with Midvalley as narrator, and after that, the story had a will of its own.
So take off your shoes, pop the top of a cold one, relax and make yourself at home with the Hornfreak.
