I shake
because of the cold
perhaps
the smell
there's pain
but also an air of acceptence
THAT is un acceptable
for this to become routine is UNACCEPTABLE
but what else can we do?
buildings that once were strong
now like something out of a horror movie
I'm shaking
and I'm crying
and I'm glad
I'll cry for those who didn't have the time
for the children without parents
for the parents without their children
and I'll be angry for those who don;t have the strength
and be wise for those who cannot see
I will take your strength
your fear
your love
your courage
and make it my own
and I will not forget
and I WILL NOT accept this
