I wrote this years ago, I have no idea what inspired it. I guess it
could be from Darla's POV.
We had a love that made time stand still
regardless of what happened
death, distruction, horror, and pain
and through it all
we were together
but then came her
she took you away from my loving arms
and gave you a soal
since then I have waited
for you to return
to the world you left behind
to me
and now that you're back
I open my arms
and you run right through me
straight to another
who you love more
that I see
may she treasure
and protect you
always
keep you safe from harm
but we

are eternally intertwined
