Treasured Flowers

  Down in the valley where green grass grows

Flourish golden flowers of delight!

How we wonder at their beauty

Shining fair and in pure light.

What can be said of these wonders;

How they grow and give fragrance

A luring sense of incense dwell,

With a sweet aroma in its presence?

Can one tell of how it matures?

So softly, silently and sweetly

How it bares a mark of purity,

Humble, tender and completely ?

To what end do these flowers come?

Is it for love, kindness or pleasure?

From a friend, lover, or peacemaker?

In its final completion surely it is a treasure!
