Jewish Writing
Elementary

"I'm a writer? Am I really worthy of joining this exalted group of advanced, professional writers? I just tried to publish a little something that I wrote. That doesn't make me worthy of the title of Author or Writer."

Don't worry.

We're not exalted, and we're not all puffed up with self-importance.

We all started out just as you did. We all received our rejection letters, very similar to those that you are learning to experience and enjoy. As a matter of fact, most of us are still getting more rejection than acceptance (letters, that is).

We all realize that everybody has to start out someplace, and we're happy to extend our hand in welcome to newcomers.

Go ahead - post your queries to our Jewish Writing forum; submit your manuscript to be critiqued, and do your best to feel right at home.

We'll do our best to welcome you.
