Which spelling is better? British? American? Australian? Israeli? Canadian? Yeshivish?
That's a much easier question than you might think.
As those of us on the Jewish Editing Forum know, no spelling is better or more acceptable than any other.
However, a certain type of spelling may be more acceptable to a specific audience or publisher, just as a particular source may demand a certain style manual.
Furthermore, there is no doubt that it is very important to be consistent with your spelling.
When submitting your manuscript, be sure to specify the audience and the type of spelling you will use. We will verify that it is appropriate and consistent.
