Jewish Writing is part of a large series of forums on professional topics. One of the other forums is Jewish Reviews. That group reviews selected documents and software.
The items selected for Jewish Reviews relate to our various groups. Priority will be granted to the final publication of a book that has been critiqued on Jewish Writing.
However, this does not mean that documents are reviewed automatically, just because they were critiqued here. It does mean that the writer of the final publication does have some protektzia.
And - with all of the criticisms that you may have about protektzia - it's a very good thing for those who do have it.
