Wouldn't the sentence Editing really isn't our job. Although we may edit materials, that aspect of our job won't be our thrust into Jewish Writing.
If you do want to get involved in text editing, join a separate Jewish forum called Jewish Editing. The subscribers to that group do indeed discuss issues relating to the editing of Jewish materials. We don't want to take away any of the thrust from that group.
If you have any issues relating to the editing of Jewish materials, do the right thing. Join the Jewish Editing group and post your issue there.
Yes, even if it's just for one tiny little issue. Yes, even if you know you won't ever need to use Jewish Editing again in your life. Yes, even if you can't stand the thought of joining yet another group.
There's a proper place for everything. Let's do it right.

"I want to put a hyphen
between the words
Fish and And and And and Chips
in my Fish-And-Chips sign"
have been clearer
if quotation marks had been placed
before Fish,
and between Fish and and,
and and and And,
and And and and,
and and and And,
and And and and,
and and and Chips,
as well as after Chips?
