Our Search for the Ultimate Game Pak: The Toobin' (tm) Legacy
Many brave souls have parished in this perilous yet lucrative quest - The quest for the NES game Toobin' (tm).  Pete and Joe are two of the brave adventurers who dedicated their lives to finding Toobin' for the good of mankind.  Here, these couragous warriors tell of their unending quest....
Pete's Testimony
I first heard of the game Toobin' back in '92. I saw a special on MTV in which Vanilla Ice claimed his feud with 3rd Bass was ignited by a Toobin' Game Pak. As it turns out, Ice split the cost of the game with that 3rd Bass guy with glasses. The 3rd Bass guy accidentally ran the cartridge over with his Huffy bike, destroying it. He then refused to reimburse Ice for Ice's half of the cost. The battle soon went public.

I figured if an NES game could incite a feud between some white rappers from the early 1990's, it must be worth getting.  Joe and I have spent hours downloading Toobin' Roms, which to out dismay, never worked properly.  Every Rom would freeze after the title screen. We also made a trip to the Asian pawn shop on Main Street, the Carousel Mall, the Viewmont Mall, and the Steamtown mall, without any luck. We also check Game Stop at the Oakdale Mall on a weekly basis, but still find nothing.

In late 2002, I decided to take the search to a new level.  I called up the Giant on Harry L Drive and asked to speak with employee Matt Einstein. He wasn't there, so I asked them to reserve me four copies of Toobin'.  I was heartbroken to learn the Giant Supermarket dosn't carry NES games.

It is now February of 2003, and my time is growing short. I must complete this quest before the hour of death is upon me.
The Testimony of an Angry Young Man

I slaughtered many Moors on my quest for any kind of Toobin' Game Pak. There's one for Nintendo, ATARI 2600, Sega Genesis... But to no avail, the game has yet to be within the grasp of this human being. Toobin' (tm) is a symbol of the one thing in everyone's life that is constantly out of reach, as if when the goal is met or overcome, the person's life will then be complete.

I know that the game itself isn't as important as the quest, and that is what I take away every time I sell my body for money to continue the quest, every time I rob an old capitalist in the GIANT super market, everytime I trample through the bogs and fight the imps and rats there... But always remember, in case you never hear from me again -- "The President has been kidnapped by Ninjas, are YOU a bad enough dude to rescue the President?"
