Is there any benefit to sponsoring Jewish and Hebrew discussion groups?
Yes.
Today, these groups are one of the major sources for unifying the Jewish nation.
Jews who have no way of making contact with their fellow Jews, or who live in distant or hostile environments, can discuss issues of merit openly and freely with other Jews throughout the world.
This very fact that there is a vibrant Jewish community helps them survive as Jews.
For the rest of the Jews throughout the free world, there may be no better unifying element than the ability to discuss professional issues with other Jews.
This is indeed a powerful element in the Jewish world, and there is thus unquestionably great benefit in sponsoring the groups.
