In general, advertisements are not solicited for these groups, and commercial items can and should be publicized elsewhere.
However, we realize that various commercial enterprises or individuals would like to benefit from a large, worldwde Jewish audience in a targeted or specified area. There may indeed be no other resource that can target this potential as well as these groups. We therefore realize our an obligation to satisfy the needs of these commercial establishments.
Furthermore, the number of advertisements on these groups is indeed limited. Some enterprises or individuals may feel that this fact will make their advertisement stand out and be noticed - and there is unquestionably considerable merit to this point of view. However, we did establish various conditions for posting advertisements.
Private messages
Private messages, advertisements, or commercial messages may not be posted as part of a regular message. We have provided the option of a paid advertisement as an alternative option.
Placement
Your paid advertisement will be set apart from the rest of the posting.
Personal greetings or messages:
Send personal, non-commercial inoffensive greetings or messages to members of the group if the item would not ordinarily be discussed on that group. The charge for non-commercial messages is only $54 (=$18 Chai x 3 = VAT). These announcements are to be limited to 12 words.Payment:
Our payment procedure is different from that in most advertisements. Payment must be received before the advertisement will be posted. Be sure to approve the advertisement before sending the payment.Length of advertisement:
Advertisments which are longer than 48 words must be split into two messages. This will entail the placement of a second advertisement for the second part of the message.
Free advertisements:
You can earn a free advertisement on these groups. Budget-minded organizations may see this as a viable and cost-effective option.
