Orange Apple Tzimmes 

Ingredients :

2 lb Peeled and slied carrots
2 x Apples, peeled and diced
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Orange marmalade
1/3 cup Honey
1/3 cup Margarine
1 x Orange, (grated peel and juice)
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt

Method :
Put all ingredients in a large heavy pot and cover.
Bring to a boil, lower heat and cook covered for one hour.
Remove the lid and cook for another twenty minutes, stirring occasionally until the carrots are glazed.
