Cinnamon Raisin Challah Bread

Ingredients:
2 packages dry yeast
2 1/2 cups warm water
4 Tablespoons honey
4 Tablespoons margarine
2 teaspoon salt
6 cups flour, divided
3 Tablespoon cinnamon
2 cup raisins

Dissolve yeast in 2-1/2 cups warm water.
Stir in honey.
Mix in margarine, salt and 4 cups of flour.
Beat on low speed till blended, then beat one minute on high.
Scrape bowl and beat one minute more.
Stir in remaining 2 cups of flour by hand.
Cover and let rise until doubled, about two hours.
Punch batter down, and stir in cinnamon and raisins.

Let raise for 1 hour more.
Separate into 2 balls, separating each ball into three strands each.
Braid strands to form challah bread, tucking each end under neatly.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
When done, top with glaze.

Glaze:
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 Tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine ingredients until smooth.
