Add lukewarm milk, butter or margarine, 2 eggs, salt, and 2 1/2 C flour. Mix slowly, then when ingredients arewell combined, add the remaining flour. Turn dough onto floured board and knead until smooth, working more flour in until dough loses it's stickiness. Half dough into 2 balls, with each ball, separate into thirds, forming three strands by rolling them until you have even strands. Braid strands on oiled cookie sheet. Do the same with the second half of dough. Tuck ends under neatly. Brush with egg yolk and sprinklewith sesame seeds. Cover with damp, warm cloth. Let rise until double in size. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Brush with melted butter or margarine when you remove from oven to keep crust soft. (Makes two loaves, one for Shabbat Eve Celebration and one for Havdalah).
