This is a tribute to Dawson and Joey. Not only will best friends in real life be called 'Dawson and Joey's' for the next ten years, Dawson and Joey were an important role models for many young people. They were soulmates, best friends, lovers. And they go on in our hearts.

Dancing in 102, when Dawson's chasing after Jen at the homecoming dance. Sparks sizzle when he and Joey slow-dance and she gazes at him lovingly, and he looks into her eyes, confused after telling her she's 'good at this' (dancing)...and then Jen interrupts.
Joking in 104. Joey and Dawson talk about being married in another life. I think they probably were!
Kissing in 106. (Thank you Pacey) Pacey dares Joey to kiss Dawson after she made fun of him for having to kiss Jen. Joey freaks and Dawson does too, but they share a very, very heated kiss which overtakes them, especially Joey, and instead of being a dead fish, Dawson kisses Joey back. They can't even look at each other afterwards until Joey almost admits to Dawson her feelings...
Jaw-dropping in 111. Dawson sees Joey in a bare-backed dress at the Beauty Pageant and is knocked out of his socks. They hold hands and he *almost* tells her how he feels but she shoots him down for being superficial.
Their first real kiss in 112. After a season of denial, Dawson admits his feelings to Joey after chasing her around Capeside. Their eyes meet and for a moment Joey can't read them (they're glazed over with lust) so she panicks and heads for the window, so Dawson runs after her, grabs her (who said he never had any guts or passion?) and kisses her, and that kiss turns into two, then three, then a big smooch and we glide back out the window to see two shadows embracing in the billowing curtain. Part of me wishes DC had ended right *now.*
Sexing-it-up in 602. Five years later, when Joey and Dawson wake up after a long night of passionate lovemaking (heehee!) and start going at it again. Like, straight away, without barely opening their eyes.
The night before, in 601, Dawson had sweet-talked her--'you're with me, everywhere I go' given her a birthday gift and danced with her (dancing leads to smut, after all: episode 206) to her favorite song, and now he is getting rewarded with a gropy hug and some lusty sex. Fade out to 602...(as mentioned above)
