Super Easy Way to Glittering Text

This tutorial is for Paint Shop Pro Version 8
It can be done in any version that has the
'noise' effect.

This tutorial is written by me Julie Jenks 2003�
I just thought of it, tried it, and it works!
Any likeness to any other glitter text tut is purely
happenstance....


Open you paint shop pro-of course. *lol*

1. Either add your text to an exsisting signature
you are working on.

2. OR--open a new image/flood fill white.

3. add a layer (click on the text tool, these settings checked: "floating"/"anti-alias") layers/add new raster layer

4. add your text, making sure your background color is set
to whatever you want it as.
foreground is set to null.

5. Now with your text on your image, move it into place,layers/merge/visible and the marching ants are
selected around your text--Select "adjust/add and remove noise/add noise

5. Use these settings: a.monochrome is checked. b.Uniform is checked.
Noise is set at 40% --click o.k.

6. Click File/save as myglitter1.gif

7. click undo and repeat this process 2 more times.
increasing the noise % by 10 eat time.
and each time change the number behind your file name.
so you will have myglitter1.gif myglitter2.gif and myglitter3.gif

8. Open animation shop click on File/Animation Wizard

9. click next through the next few frames.

10. Then "add image" and browse to your myglitter1,2,and 3.

11.click next, click finish

12. click "view" animation and if you like it. --File/Save As my_glitter.gif
