Swarovski (Austrian) Crystals:  Made in Austria, Swarovski products are considered to be one of the finest products of their kind in the world!  These crystals are machine polished, unlike Czech glass, so are of a higher quality and cost as well.
Aurora Borealis Finish (AB): A rainbow finish added to the outside of glass and crystal beads after polishing.  AB indicates the finish on half of the bead while 2xAB inidicates the finish on the entire bead.
Czech Glass Beads:  Imported from the Czech Republic, these beads are machine faceted then polished by glazing in an oven (fire polished).  This gives them a "softer" look and smoother feel.
Sterling Silver:  Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper.  The copper add the durability and strength.  Pure silver is too "soft" to hold up on its own.
Silver-plate:  Silver coating over a base metal (usuall brass or steel) that is electroplated or dipped.  It is a cost effective alternative to sterling silver.
Bali Beads:  Imported from Bali, Indonesia each sterling silver bead is hand-crafted one-by-one, by various artisans, and therefore no two are exactly the same.  There may be slight variations in bead size, form, and oxidations.
Fire Designs Hand Blown Glass Beads:  Made in the USA - these hand blown cane glass beads offer vibrant colors for a fun and modern look.
Glass Pearls and Swarovski Pearls:  Swarovski crystal pearls have a leaded crystal center that makes them heavier than the synthetic glass pearls.  Swarovski pearl coating is similiar to a natural pearl luster and is consistent in color.  It is also resistant to perspiration, UV rays, perfumes, scratches and washings.  The pearls also warm to you skin as do real pearls.
Glass Lampwork Beads: Hand-crafted individually by artisans.  These beads are created by melting glass, creating desired design, and then letting glass cool.  Since beads are created individually there will be slight variations in color, design, and possibly size.  No two beads will be identical.
