Well, I decided that this page needed a little clean up. Most of the 'thoughts' are 9 years old, except for the first one. It needed to be done. Now I know that I don't change this very often, but I will try to get back into it again.

What About That Y2K Bug??
Okay, I would like to know what happened to tha Y2K bug that everyone was so afraid of? I didn't see anything happen at midnight, did you? I was out partying and no lights went out, the music still played and everybody's cell phones still worked as well..!! Everybody got all excited and worried about their computers and got them upgraded. For what, I ask? In the end, nothing. It was all just a scam. Now that the new year has come around, they tell us that actually the millenium doesn't start until 2001. well, nice of them totell us now. After we have spent thousands of dollars on new computers and new software. I figure in the end, it was all just a setup to make money. Yet again, the worlds people were had by the economy so the businesses could make some extra cash. Wonderful!! There, got that out of my 'system', any comments, you know the drill.

Waste Of Paper!!!
You know what really pisses me off! People who waste paper. I go to a college in the Quinte area and the amount of paper that is wasted on advertisements is just enormous!!! They could build a whole forest just by themselves. God! There are flyers that are set out on the tables in the cafeteria and in the student centre, as well as being hung up on broads. They are coloured and very well put together. The colour of them, you couldn't help but pick them up and read them. But our lovely SAC (student council if you will) likes to distirbute the same flyers in the middle of the week but a different colour. THE SAME FREAKIN' FLYER!! This doesn't make any sense. There are all kinds of bulletin broads all over the school. There is the school email, such as it is. A majority of the recycling centre's don't except recycled paper. I was told that they recycle them. I never see anyone going around to collect them. And most of the time they are throw out (in the GARBAGE) by the students. So, probably only 40% or whatever even see the recycling depot. I really hate this. It really annoys me. You know people bitch about the environment not being clean and that we should recycle more. Well, to all those who do this and then say they will recycle them, but never collect them: STOP BITCHING AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!
