Life is nothing but a bowl of cherries
So, I shall have a drink of sherry
If this drink I can not hold
Then life is not made of gold
And there I will be over the bowl
And this drink would of taken its toll!

Lonely
I wanna be there
Touch you everywhere
But your not here
And it's more than I can bare.
Sometimes I cry myself to sleep
I let myself fall in way too deep
Now I don't know how to let go
And it's killing me to know,
that we may never be.

ROSES
What is a rose anyway?
Some see them as a form of love,
To give on a birthday or perhaps,
on Valentine's Day.
With their long green stem and silk pedals.
They are a nice gesture.
You may also enjoy them for yourself.
For some plant them in gardens,
for them to bloom every year.
However you want to enjoy them,
take care of them.
They are special to receive.

YOU MEAN EVERYTHING TO ME
Your my sun when the
clouds are in the sky.
Your my smile when I'm
sad.
You listen when I need
an ear.
Your my friend and my
best friend when no one
else is.
Your there when I'm crying,
Your there when I'm smiling.
Without you, I couldn't imagine.
Your everything to me.

DO YOU KNOW
Do you know what it's like to be happy,
Do you know what it's like to be in love.
Do you know what it's like to have dreams,
Do you know what it's like to be excited.
Do you know what it's like to look forward to the
morning,
Do you know what it's like to look forward to the day,
Do you know?
You do,
I don't,
You stole them from me.

*REMEMBER ME
I am light,
I am beauty,
Remember me....
I am a rose,
I am strong,
Remember me....
I love you,
Why do I have to go,
Remember me....
I don't want to go,
You know I will always
love you, but please,
Remember me.
I am light.....

THINK OF ME
Think of me when your lonely.
Think of me when your sad.
Think of me always,
Through good times and bad.
Think of me, when you smile,
Think of me, when your sky is are grey.
When birds are singing and you hear whispers floating on the wind,
Think of me.
Every time there's a sparkle in a new born child's eye,
Think of me.
When you think of love,
Think of me.

*I WANT TO SAY I LOVE YOU
I want to say I love you
But I'm so afraid you'll laugh
And if you laughed
When I told you
It would break my heart in half.
XXXXXXX
I want to do
more things with you
Because I love you so
And if I asked you
to do these things
I'd die if you said no.
XXXXXXX
I want you to love me
As much as I love you
And if you said you hated me
I don't know what I'd do.
XXXXXXX
My love for you
Is like a stream
That runs forever true
And my stream of love
will never run dry
As long as I have you!
*Taken from a magazine.
IMAGES OF YOU
I was sitting on my window sill,
Staring at the sky,
when my thoughts came to you,
I began to cry.
Not because I hate you,
Not because I'm sad,
Just because of you and me
and all the times we've had.
You told me that you loved me
and it made me feel secure
and when I seen your loving
smile,
I was glad that you were there.
You listened to all my problems
and helped me solve them too
and whenever I wasn't feeling well,
You knew just what to do.
Now we've gone our separate ways
and time has played its part.
Even though your not around
your always in my heart.

(Got this poem when I was in Grade 9. A friend of mine's sister's friend did this poem. I put it in because I liked it. I hope that if the person sees this that you will e-mail me and I will put your name on it to give you credit).
UNTITLED
How do you say
I'm going to miss you?
It's hard to say in just a few words
I miss you
Why does it have to end?
I already miss you
Remember all the good times, and
forget about all the bad
I miss you
And you know what they say, "all
good things must come to an end."

For my memories at NDSS
REMEMBER THE TIMES
Remember the times when they loved,
Remember the times when they fought,
and the times when they died.
Now we remember the times that were
and are in the past.
They risked their lives,
to fight for their country,
for our freedom.
Some lived and remember
The fighting,
The dying,
The blood,
The glory,
When we won the war.
The great feeling of victory and
salvation.
That great feeling that sends a
chill up your spine
and back down again.
It has been years and
now we,
Remember the times.

TWO WORLDS
Two names
One person
One problem...
What do you do when your family
doesn't understand?
When they didn't find out from you.
When they talk without feeling,
say hi but might not mean it.
They don't except the "change" and
they cancel you out.
Terry is the name
Chrissy is the person
Transexual is the problem
Up there he is she and Chrissy
Down here he is he and Terry
Soon to be she... Chirstyn Terry McGinn
The change will be complete
And the exception will have to come.....

MY LIFE
For everyone keeping me sane I have wrote this poem for you
lovely people. It is about friends... That is who 'they' are... Don't worry you will understand when you get to
that part...
I'm trying to see the colours.
But they're not all that clear.
Black is interferring and
the roses are starting to fade.
I get more and more confused
with each passing day.
Day turns into night and
night stays the same.
I am trying to break free but
how can I go.
Then, they appear,
everything becomes clear.
The colours get bright,
I am almost blinded!
Life for me is no longer hard.
As long as they are around.
In my life...
