Sarah

      SARAH FRANCES SWEENEY was the daughter of MARY JANE LAWSON and CHARLES SWEENEY. She was born August 2, 1895 in Clifty, Kentucky(Wolfe County). She married GROVER CLEVELAND PARKS January 27,1912. Cleve was born December 26, 1885 & died September 24, 1969. She lived in Breathitt County Kentucky until about 1940 when Cleveland, her and some of the children moved to Churbusco, Indiana. Eventually they lived in Walkerton, Indiana and Cleve came back to Kentucky. They divorced. Sarah moved back to Kentucky for a time, but returned to Walkerton until the time of her death in October 1981. She is buried in the Sweeney Cemetery in Simpson, Kentucky. Sarah and Cleveland had 14 children:

           10. CLEVELAND born November 12, 1931 died November 12, 1931

           11. WILLIE born October 18, 1932

           12. JEWEL born September 14, 1934

           13. MARY JO born February 21, 1937

           14. CARL born November 20, 1940    died 1940
