Miss Jewell's Seventh Grade Art Class
The students will do some really nice projects today. Here is my service learning teacher's aid journal.

The students seem to really like the clean up program that I have put forth.  They like the extra credit points I suppose.    As long as all the paints are getting cleaned up I'm okay with that.  I have started talking to everyone about what we are going to go for the next assignment.  Their next assignment is to write a paper (the front of one page) on the Artist they did, so they can learn a little bit more about their artist.  Some of the students have already started doing this.  Miss Dawkins was talking to another teacher about how much I help her out and do more than what most student teachers do and she doesn't know how she is going to make it when I leave.  I felt kind of embarrassed, but proud.  I'm glad I am doing my job right.  I like my students, I am going to miss them.  One of Miss Dawkin's sixth graders, who I didn't even know, came up to me at work and was like, "Hi Jewell!  I'm in Miss Dawkin's class!"  and was talking to me.  I was excited.  I have made an impact on the students.
