Not only was Ms. Dawkins not here (she had to take down the Art Show), but the students were not there either. Well, six were there. They had a field trip to go on, so most of the students were gone. For the most part of class, actually almost all of it, I sat cleaning up the mess the eight grade left prior to this class. One of the students wanted to give me a hard time because she was late. I took her into the hallway and had a discussion with her about getting to class on time and how it wasn't just the classroom rule that I brought it, but a rule Ms. Dawkins asked to reinforce and a rule that the school is very stict about. I asked some of the students to answer some questions about me and my teaching so I could put them in my portfolio. Only two and half did it, but that's okay, I told them they didn't have to.
