Hee...hee...I'm starting to inhibit this "alarming" habit--fondness of writing about myself. ^.^;; Click on to any of my anime pages (Karekano or Evangelion) and you'll always find an "About me" link at the bottom. Uh, basically, those pages serve as editorials for the anime on which it is linked. The introduction would mostly describe my feelings upon that certain anime, its connection with my life and so on; then I'll throw in some basic facts about me, which is probably the only time, yes, I actually tell something about myself. ^_~;;
Anime has been my LIFE. (I could say that again) And believe it or not, I have far more better collection of anime pics and the like than what you can find in this site. Unfortunately, I don't own a scanner. Plus, while I was building this site I'm renting a pc; because we don't have internet access.
Don't pity me--DON'T (Sobbing helplessly as I continue to type...) *SNIFF* *SNIFF* My country is not the most beautiful nor exotic as how its name sounds (well, it's rarely popular), and the impression we Filipinos give to foreigners is DEMEANING. Gravely depressing. But I must imply that anime is free for all fans. So I share what I know, what I have, for people to appreciate the beauty and values my favorite anime convey.
Yes, values. Morality is a big issue then and there, almost in every country in the world. My thesis back in highschool was about anime and from there I realized how much watching an anime show could affect the minds of its viewers, most specially the young ones. Some mistakenly perceive anime as some real-life story telling show, that whatever you see in it could actually apply to daily life. Well, some, there's no denying. But most? No way!!! Those kamehame wave blasts of Gokou could never happen in real life and I advice that no one should aspire for it.
But it's good to aspire becoming an anime-tor someday. And I aspire to become one myself. It's good that one hoans his talents by writing fanfics or drawing fanarts or building websites like this one. Those are just some of the benefits one can get from anime. When I say some it means there's a lot more! I encourage everyone to find ways on how to improve or dissemilate anime stuff to people who are interested. Make sure however, that what you share is not sukebe, ne?
It's boring to read stuff as long as this one, I know. Anyways I hope whatever's in my site makes everyone happy. ANIME RULEZ!!!
