JEWEL'S NOSE
After her album '0304', it seemed no other accomplished artist in the history of popular music has had to tolerate as much hostile press as Jewel.
Love her or hate her... she just simply can't be denied.
Jewel has sold over 25 million albums !!! Her main albums, 'Pieces Of You', 'Spirit', 'This Way' and '0304' have gone platinum or gold around the world. I'm not too sure how her Christmas album fared... maybe I've got the only copy.
Her poetry suffered the most savage (often sarcastic) affront, yet despite the relentless attack, 'A Night Without Armor', defied the venomous critics and spent an impressive 16 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list!
Her movie debut was astonishing. I plodded around the net and thankfully couldn't find one scathing review. Okay, okay..... so no one mistook her for Lawrence Olivier.
