American Fan Publicly Disrespects Jewel
Some people show absolutely no respect for internationally acclaimed celebrities.
Singer/songwriter Jewel Kilcher, famous for her Clearwater Project (providing clear drinking water to underprivileged nations), was publicly humiliated early this week by a cruel and vindictive young woman.
American Jewel fan Tracy, aka Angel Eyes, had the audacity to post this totally offensive image (left), complete with vulgar caption, in the 'World Jewel Forum'. The moderators immediately demanded an apology from Tracy for dragging their newly established Jewel forum into disrepute.
The ASPCJ contacted Jewel's management to inquire if a defamation suit would be appropriate so Jewel would not have to tolerate such offensive behaviour from spiteful fans in the future.
A Warner Music spokeswoman issued this statement:
"Too many people abuse the internet to satirize and send-up famous celebrities. We would like to kindly thank Justin, the ever vigilant prezident of the 'Australian Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Jewel', for bringing this matter to our urgent attention."
