In his monthly statement to shareholders, Simon Bell CEO of Australian Foxtel announced: "After personally viewing the Divas Concert featuring 'Proud Mary', the duet with Beyonce and Jewel, I felt Jewel would be a more significant drawcard than Beyonce, hence Jewel, not Beyonce is featured in our promo. Foxtel's paramount priority is to attract the maximum number of viewers in this highly competative industry".
"Futhermore, it is my considered opinion that Beyonce is all froth and bubble, while Ms Kilcher has proven to be an artists of considerable substance."
OK, OK... so Foxtel's CEO never said that... and... the Prez is fresh out of ideas for a new page and this is the best he can come up with. But all the same...
