STEPS TO CHRIST
S - is for Salvation; it's as free as the air we breathe

T - is for the Treasures Jesus wants us to lay up in
     heaven,
     Where neither moth nor rust corrupteth,
     Nor thieves break through and steal

E - is for Everyone; it's for everyone that Jesus died
     E's also for
Everlasting life,
     Which may be yours if you accept Christ's
     atoning sacrifice

P - is for Prayer, the open line of communion
     between God and man
     If you pray like you should, you'll be free from
     spiritual dross,
     There'll be no mountain you cannot climb,
     No river you cannot cross

S - is for the Sacrifice that Jesus paid on Calvary;
     He died the death we all deserved to die,
     So from sin and its eternal consequences
     we may be free.

T - is for Today and Tomorrow; yesterday is
     forever gone
     Leave the past behind; that is where it belongs,
     Today, accept as your Savior, Jesus Christ the
      Lamb,
     Then there'll be blessed hope for tomorrow and
      beyond

O - is for Overwhelming, which is how your sins
     may seem;
     But Jesus will cast them in the depths of the sea,
     Yea, He'll make you clean!

C - is for the Christian life - Christ's life -
     That is imparted by grace to the saved;
     It means treading the path that Jesus trod -
     The path that leads to God

H - is for the Happiness and the peace that Christ
     imparts -
     Joy to make the spirit soar,
     To lift our fainting hearts

R - is for the Righteousness, which Jesus gives in
     exchange for our sin;
     It's the righteous character reserved
     For he who sees the strait gate and enters in

I -  is for Indebted; we are all indebted to Christ,
     But all that He askes is that we'll give Him our
     lives

S - is for the School of Christ, where we learn to be
     like Him;
     In that, we learn the true essence of Christianity:
     Love, discipleship and humility

T - is for Trust, without which it is impossible to
     please Him;
     Trust is one of the fruits of friendship,
     The absence of which results in a broken
     relationship;
     If you desire to walk with Jesus all the way,
     Then, trust, my friend,
     Trust and obey
