The Trictrac Home Page: an English-language site by David Levy,
featuring in particular an illustrated bibliography of the game of trictrac.
Soumille: the first and only software allowing Trictrac to be played
on a computer. It was developed by David Levy and scrupulously follows
the rules set out on this site for the game of Trictrac. The rules of the
"false point" and "schools" are not applied, since
the computer never makes mistakes in moves or in scoring
points.
Article on Trictrac: so that the rules
of the game would be accessible to as many people as possible, I actively contributed
to writing the article on Trictrac for the cooperative encyclopedia
Wikipedia. While not as detailed as this site
regarding the rules, the Wikipedia page,
written in a descriptive style, is sufficient to approach the game while respecting its essentials,
and it also covers other points such as the history of the game, the etymology of its name,
an annotated bibliography, etc.
