| Monday July 4th 2005, Ziggy Traill (1989-2005) passed away in my arms at 11:30am at the animal clinic in Penticton, B.C.. Cancer had taken a rapid toll on his spry disposition, a week ago he could have run rings around an indy car. He was the sum total of my family and the last 15 years of my life. I will never forget the worlds most anoiying dog, our attachment to each other was as branches grafted on a tree. He was always there and always wanted to be there, no matter what. I always wanted him there, no matter how much I disliked dogs, I needed him to be there. I love my Ziggy, from his laboured attemts to speak english with some success to his pet cat and rat, both of whom had been loved to death by Ziggy. And to his anoiying speed and agility that caused so many problems when coupled with his bad habits. He had more love in his heart than any 2 or 4 legged creature I have ever had the tolerance to be introduced to. If Ziggy had been human he would have surely been here by the grace of God as I am sure he was as a dog with a rare intelect not even too common in humans. I can't call him son but I always wished I could, he was my baby puppy dog! I love you Ziggy! God be with you. | ||||
