(Ned and Lois are walking along the side of a pool in Puerto Rico)

Lois: "Stop lookin' at me!"

Ned: "I love looking at you."

Lois: "You are so arrogant. To ask me to love you when I have no reason to trust you. Why am I doing this? Why am I even allowing myself to have this conversation with you?"

Ned: "Because you want to."

Lois: "No! It's because I'm hopeless. Because I think of all the good times, and I remember how you used to make me feel. And I remember the joy, and I think about making love with you, seeing you on stage and all the people that you move and you touch and you make happy and I know you're singing directly to me and I feel like I'm just gonna die of loving you. And you don't deserve it and it's just not fair!"

Ned: "Yes I do and so do you."

(He grabs her and starts to kiss her. Lois tries to push him away and they fall into the pool)

L: "EDDIE!"

N: "Eddie? That's a start!"
