Ned: "I had my lawyer draw up that post nup thing that you wanted. Here, take a look at it, if you have any changes let me know okay?"

Lois: "I hope you know that my asking for this is in no way an indication that I think we're gonna need it, ya know? I have utter and blind faith in us. You know that don't you?

Ned: "Oh I do."

Lois: "It's just that you know, I've learned in my lifetime be prepared for the worse and hope for the best. Wait a sec."

Ned: "Is something wrong?"

Lois: "It's just this clause that says I'm entitled to half your money in the event that blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But you're not entitled to any of mine."

Ned: "Well, I didn't anticipate that to be a problem."

Lois: "Sure it is."

Ned: "Why?"

Lois: "Because it's not equitable."

Ned: "Yes it is. Because you are the other half of me. The better half. And if the unthinkable were to happen, I wouldn't walk away from you the same person that I was when we met because I would me more than I was because of you."

Lois: "Eddie, that is so sweet. But this clause is still unacceptable. I'm sorry. Look, you are a fifty fifty proposition here. I don't want your money if I can't have you! Listen to us! As if you had any! That's funny! But say you did. Say that this jet belonged to you and we were together. We could get Brenda and Sonny and Miguel and all the guys and we could go anywhere we want anytime we wanted right? Or you and I -we could just fly off to Tahiti just to get away for a few days.
