Lois: What is it?

Ned: What’d ya think of the show?

Lois: Uh...Brenda will give you my notes.

Ned: To hell with the notes. (He grabs her arm and sustains her from leaving.) Now I was singing for you. Didn’t you feel anything?

Lois: I felt you needed a little more rehearsal.

Ned: Come on.

Lois: Alright what I saw up there was the same lyin’ manipulative bum that I know you are.

Ned: There was nothing phony about that performance Lois! It was all real and it was all for you. You know it and I know it. You’re just too proud to admit that you were wrong about me.

Lois: If you think I’m gonna play this game with you again then you’re sadly mistaken. Give some thoughts to your career ok, get back inside before you catch cold.

Ned: Loi…(She leaves him standing outside the Outback.)
