Marie has been on JetStart since 1999. Prior to that, she paddled on the Canadian Airlines Team (now called the General Motors team) in Vancouver.
Although Marie normally paddles, she is occasionally called upon to be the team drummer. She is widely admired (and maybe feared?) by the team for her skills as drummer. Obviously her experience as a teacher has made her well able to control a group of 20 immature, noisy, uncooperative, wet people. Good lungs also help.
Once a Vancouverite, Marie now enjoys living the urban experience in Toronto with Dave.
