Border Planter
The stone bed, which I built from Chilton full-color dry wall purchased from Coffman Stone, serves two purposes:

-to raise the shrubs above ground level, since this is the low end of the yard and gets very wet, and
-to create an informal border with the neighboring yard.

Currently it contains 3 'Miss Kim' lilacs and 2 'red charm' peonies. It is flanked on both sides by variegated Japanese
irises.
