| The Westland Westminster was a general-purpose civil & military helicopter which could accommodate up to 50 troops or 253ft3 of cargo in the cabin. The Westminster had two 3,150shp Napier Eland E.229A shaft-drive turbines mounted forward above the cabin with gearbox & main rotors directly behind. The main rotor had five blades & a diameter of 72ft. The tail rotor had four blades with a 15ft diameter. The Westminster was 89ft 4in long, 19ft 6in high, weighed 36,000lbs & had a cruising speed of 115mph. | ||
