Memphis Area Resturants

The following table lists some of the better places to eat in Memphis and the Mid-South area, however, since space prevents me from listing them all (and we have been to quite a few)I have chosen a small sampling of different types of resturaunts to list here.

Okay,Everyone says I did this page so well I needed to create a page for the local area where I live now, near Purdue Univerity in West Lafayette,IN. College students are very discriminating when it comes to eating and drinking. The three rules are (in order), Cheap, tasty and fast. I was just going to continue the list below but thought better of it and decided to give this area it's own separate page which you can access by clicking HERE.

NOTE:

I have not listed several popular resturaunts that operate in the Memphis Metro Area due to either space restrictions or various other reasons. I would, however, like to say a word about the Bob Evans chain of resturaunts that are creeping into the area. This Cracker Barrel wannabe has no concept of what Southerners want or need. They insist on serving their tasteless version of good ole' Yankee cooking that is passed off as wholesome and good. Visit at your own risk. (An additional note to the BE corporation: I don't, nor will I ever appologize for this negative comment about your chain. You suck, period).
