| FROG CYCLE |
| The next phase is the development of the tadpole into a frog. As the tadpole's weeks go by some changes on it can be seen. Usually at three weeks the tadpole starts developing it's back legs. Another three weeks and the tadpole develops it's front legs. While these new features are growing bigger the tadpole's tail is growing smaller. The tadpole is starting to gain it's adult color and it's gills are disappearing so lungs can form. The frog is ready to come out of the water and onto land. |
