1. All USGA rules apply.

2. Preferred lies in the fairway

3. Rake and place in the bunkers A player may rake and place an area where a ball has come to rest in any bunker or sand trap on the course. The raking must provide an even surface consistent with contour of the area. No mounds

4. Players must mark or otherwise identify their ball A Player must uniquely identify the ball to be used in the round. The player must notify his opponent about the description of this identification

5. A player may drop a ball away from a root or rock one club length no closer to the hole, no penalty. The player must notify his opponent before doing so. The drop must be from knee height

6. Hole number 8. A ball lost on the left is deemed in the hazard and play proceeds under the hazard rule a one stroke penalty at a point where the next shot has a line of site to the green. (see Figure 1)

7. Hole number 15. For D and X players only. A ball lost in the hazard in front of the tee box must be played from the forward tee box without penalty. The player may use a tee. The player is playing his second shot from that position.

8. Out of bounds, lost balls and provisional ball play Under rule 27.1 a ball lost or out of bounds must be played as near as possible from the original shot. If it is a tee shot the player can re-tee the ball. If any shot is thought to be lost or out of bounds the player must declare and play a provisional from the spot of the original shot. When proceeding to a location and the ball is deemed lost, the player must go back to the original spot replaying the shot incurring a one stroke penalty. The is referred to as the stroke and distance penalty. Jet Electric League concession to facilitate speed of play: In the event that a ball is deemed lost or out of bounds and a provisional was not played, a player must go back to the spot the original shot was played. If it is agreed between the player and his opponent, that for the purposes of speed of play a player may shoulder drop a ball at the agreed upon spot incurring a stroke and distance penalty. The stroke and distance penalty is defined as two strokes. Rule-27

9. According to Triggs the fescue grass around the course as well as the grass mounds are not hazards. These areas are considered areas of rough. You may ground your club and you may take practice swings away from the ball.

10. According to the Triggs score card, all water hazards are lateral hazards. The water hazards are on holes 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17.

11. According to the Triggs score card, out of bounds are defined by fences and stone walls. The out of bounds barriers are on holes 1, 2 3, 6, 9, 14, 15, 16.

The playoff format is up to the teams playing. The default is the format during the regular season. Using 3 scores out of 4. Playing a ghost uses the player with the closest handicap. A tie is settled with sudden death playoff holes played on the same side in reverse order. Teams sometimes elect to use 4 scores when all players are present.

Substitute players. A substitute player must be recognized by the Jet Electric league and have an approved handicap. A substitute player must bring all equipment necessary to complete round of golf. A team can elect not to use a substitute's score if declared before the round begins. A player needing to use a substitute player is responsible for arranging for the attendance of said player. Substitutes are assigned in order of appearance when there are unplanned player absence.
