I will never forget that phone call from my sister,"Now, what is so important that you are calling me during the Superbowl? What?! Oh my God!" Derrick Thomas was in an automobile accident. He was paralyzed from the neck down. The following week showed us just how fragile life is, Derrick Thomas died at 33.
