Misplaced Hope

Can you lend me your hope for a little while,
I've seem to have misplaced mine.
Confused and hopeless feelings follow me daily,
confusion and pain are my only friends.

Which way to turn, I do not know.
Looking ahead to days to come,
does not bring hope for my future,
All I see are troubled times.

Tragedy followed by pain filled days.
Can you lend me your hope for a little while,
I've seem to have misplaced mine,
Take me in your arms and hold me.

Hear me as my pain comes forth.
Freedom seems so far away,
The road to recovery seems long and lonely.
But I hold on to the glimps of light.
