Something new has arrived in Gotham city: Batman, the Dark Knight! After a skirmash with both the police and this "Batman," Jack Napier is pushed into a barel of toxic nuclear goo! AFter he survived, his face was warped... and so was his mind... Jack took the name "Joker" and became determined to kill this "bat"... Meanwhile Vicky Vale, a photographer and journalist, life spins as she becomes more and more involved in the Batman case: Who is he really, and what is he up to? She wonders the same questions about her billionare boyfriend, Bruce Wayne...

Ok. I'm all for older movies. They're just cool. But this movie...
I am a huge fan of Batman as a whole, but I think they messed up on this movie. It was too "adultish." I mean, Batman was designed for kids. It's ok to add adults to your target audience, but don't eliminate the kids. I mean, the romance plot took up too much space verses the action and humor. Geez, I can't see how a kid would enjoy this at all. You might like it more as an adult. But somehow, I doubt it.

Rated For:
Violence: Joker does kill a lot of people. There are some corpses lying around, but I don't remember anytihng too graphic.

Sexual and Nudity: Vicky mentions having sex with Bruce, there's a make out scene, and we see them cuddling in bed.

Language: A lot of D*mns, as for everything else, they've got a little of everything.

Offence to Chirstianity: There were probably some Oh my Gods

Other: There's a smoking skeleton.

Cornfeild's Rating: PG-13

Quotes:

Eddie: "I heard that the Bat got him."
Nic: "The Bat? Oh, man. Gimme a break, will you?"
Eddie: "Five stories... straight down. There wasn't no blood in the body."
Nic: "No shit. It was all over the pavement."

Alexander Knox: [seeing Vicki for the first time] "Hello legs!"

Alexander Knox: "Why don't they call him Bruce Vain?"

Alexander Knox: [observing one of Wayne's odd sculptures] "Check this out! He must have been 'King of the Wicker People'."

[about one of his statues]
Bruce Wayne: "It's Japanese."
Knox: "How do you know that?"
Bruce Wayne: "Because I bought it in Japan."

Vicki Vale: "What about your family?"
Bruce Wayne: "Actually, Alfred is my family."
Vicki Vale: "You know, this house and all this stuff really doesn't seem like you at all."
Bruce Wayne: "Some of it is very much me. Some of it isn't."

Alfred Pennyworth: "Miss Vale telephoned. She was rather concerned. Dare I suggest that your present course of action might only strengthen her resolve. She is quite tenacious."
Bruce Wayne: "You're right about that."
Alfred Pennyworth: "And if I may say so, quite special. Perhaps you could try telling her the truth."

The Joker: "Sometimes I just kill myself!" Vicki Vale: "What do you want?"
The Joker: "Oh, Little song, little dance. Batman's head on a lance."

Batman: "See that thing on my belt? Grab it! Whatever you do, don't let go."

Batman: "Let me tell you about this guy I know. Jack. Mean kid. Bad seed. Hurt people."
The Joker: "I like him already."

Bruce Wayne: "You want to get nuts? Come on! Lets get nuts!"

The Joker: "Hey you wouldn't hit a guy with glasses on, would you? Huh?"
[Batman punches him]
