All Roads Lead Some Where
Bro Whitney Belbin

I could have entitled this "What Road Are You Wandering On" or "The Road of Least Resistance".
But... "What road are you wandering on" SHOULD NOT be a question that a Christian should have to be asked.
and "The road of least resistance" SHOULD NOT be the road that a Christian should be traveling on.

If you are wandering down the right road then your walk ought to speak for itself. You wont go where the world goes. You wont put yourself in a position to have your walk questioned. You wont be going to see the smut at the theaters or to the dance clubs serving their liquor.

I thought perhaps the kinder of the titles for this message would have to be "All Roads Lead Some Where".

Some of you are saying to yourself as you read this "Man that guy is narrow minded." Well if that is what you are thinking, Praise God, I am making my point! I am very narrow minded, I am on the narrow road. If you were, you wouldn't put yourself in a position to bring shame upon the precious name of Jesus Christ.

You wouldn't go where the world goes.

Lets look at a couple verses of scripture:

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

If I am narrow minded I am in good company.

If you are narrow minded you are in good company.

Jesus Himself was pretty narrow minded.

Jesus Himself said that narrow is the way that leadeth to life. A way is an old English word for road. We should be walking on the narrow road. We should be walking against the crowd. The world goes on their merry way thinking that all is great. They don't see what is at the end of the road.

They don't see that the road they are following is the road to hell. They don't see that by following the crowd, that by taking the road of least resistance, they are dooming themselves to eternal damnation.

They don't see that by following some man or some manmade religion they are not on the narrow road but are on the broad road that leads to destruction.

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Jesus is the way, Jesus is the only inroad to salvation and any other attempt by man to gain excess to heaven any other way is false.

Never be ashamed of being called narrow minded. Never be ashamed to walk against the crowd. Never get the idea that as long as you believe in some god that we are all going to end up in the same place. That is a lie of the devil. You are being blinded by the wiles of Satan himself.

If you are walking on the RIGHT road you better believe right now that it is NOT the road of least resistance but the road where you will receiving the most resistance.

People won't like it. Your flesh won't like it. You will be walking against the crowd. You will stand out like a snowman in July.

Don't believe me? Then you better get yourself on the right road. You took a turn somewhere Christian. If people don't think you are different than they are, take out your map and be sure you are where God wants you. If people don't think your are traveling a different road than they are ...Get back where you belong!

If you can sit at a movie theater, If you can sit at an unsaved friends or relatives house while they cuss and drink and not feel the least bit out of place or ill at-ease you my friend are off the road.

Christian, what road are you walking on? Don't you realize that you are known by your walk? Don't you know that you are being watched by the unsaved world?

You maybe the only road sign that GOD puts up for these people, You maybe the one that points them in the direction of eternal life.

Where are you leading them? Are you pointing them to the strait gate? Are you saying by your walk "Hey, I've got something here, follow me" or are you just walking with the crowd satisfied in knowing that when life is done you at least have a home in heaven.

If that is the case my friend you are of no more use then a broken pedestrian light, no more good then a street lamp on a dark road with its bulb burnt out.

You are like an over turned road side warning that the street ahead is washed out.

GET BACK ON THE ROAD!

Get out of that place you don't belong and take some souls with you. Be the beacon that God wants you to be. Be the road sign that warns of the dangers ahead. Point the lost in the direction of the cross, back track to the place where you took the exit and get back to the narrow way. Be narrow minded and get going down the road to glory land.

Sinner, If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your personal saviour, If you have never invited Him into your heart then you are on the broad road that Jesus Himself said led to destruction. That destruction my friend is eternal damnation in hell. If you are following some man, if you are following some religion that is contrary to the word of God then you are on the broad road.

Jesus said that you must enter through the strait gate, and yes the way is narrow. Jesus is that way, Jesus is the road to eternal life. You may not be the most popular of people. You maybe led to give up some thing's that you are holding on to but at this point the only thing you have to give up is your ideas that you are good enough to make it to heaven on your own.

You have to realize that your church membership will not get you to heaven.
You have to realize that your baptism will not get you to heaven.
You have to realize that just claiming the name of Christian will not get you to heaven.

The only thing you have to do is admit you are a sinner. Acknowledge that there is a penalty for sins, which is hell. Realize that Jesus Christ the Son of God and very God himself came as a perfect man with no sin and died a terrible death on the cross for your penalty and was raised the third day.

Friend if you truly believe these things then the bible says you must call upon God and ask for forgiveness and that Jesus would come into your heart as your savior.

Friend won't you call upon Him now?

If you are not sure of your salvation, or have never heard of or accepted the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ and would like to know for sure that your sins can be forgiven please read "Gods Simple Plan Of Salvation" through the link on the home page or e-mail me. I would be glad to help.
