Reviews
City Link (magazine)

"Guitarist...opens with huge, crunching chords.  Drummer...ringed by a dense circle of traps, snares, tom-toms and cymbals -- flails like a madman.  Lady Ygraine and a trio of nymphet Vampirellas lay down an eerie chant.  And Jesus of Borg himself, alternately frozen and spasmodic, growls his opening lines....

"The next two hours is all Sturm und Drang guitar, abrupt tempo shifts and double time and Gidney's contortions.  He rants, he rages, he sneers, he suddenly goes fey and teasing like a maiden.

"It's unrelentingly aggressive music and...On the right night...the sheets of sound rise in layers that mount and collide like tectonic plates, then slide away to reveal cavernous depths where vocals roar or moan and guitar wails."

The Black Flame (magazine)

"...they merit your attention.

"...My apologies to these worthy creators for not having the space to personally sing a hymn of praise to each of you....Jesus of Borg, Crucimilation of the Human Collective."

Chris X from Reptilian Records

"I got the video last week...You guys are having too much fun!  Cut it out!  Aren't you supposed to be grim, ultra-serious satan worshippers?  Just kidding.  I enjoyed it--rock on!

"...I will...send people to your web site."

Rev. Matt Paradise, editor of Not Like Most (magazine)

"I just received the Official Bootleg Video of Jesus of Borg for review in my magazine, Not Like Most, and wanted to thank your band for sending it to me.

"...I'll be airing an edited version of the JoB video on my show, Subterranean SINema.  Certainly Northern New England deserves to be crucimilated."
