Angels
If you get into something against God's word, your angels will stand by and watch your destruction (probably wondering all the time 'why' you would want this because angels think every word you speak is an order of what you desire to come to pass) -- but until your words and faith fall in line (or in agreement) with God and what God said, your angels can do nothing at all for you.
The chapter of "James" says "a double minded man can expect to  receive nothing from God".  That is because people speak their own mind unless trained by scripture and the Holy Spirit to do otherwise.  If blessings and curses come out of your mouth, your angels get a mixed signal and cannot perform both (an angel can only act in accordance with God's words.  So they wait for your words to become consistant and in agreement with what God provided for you in His Word.  Angels were made to serve God and God's children and they think every word you speak is 'your desire' (the Word says: "either say yeah or nay, and anything else is bordering on evil").  Angels don't know the difference between a joke and reality.
The 26 guards in the story were angels sent on special assignment by each prayer warrior and prayer sent up for safety for the missionary.  If the church member had ignored the prompting of the Lord to pray when they did, the angels would not have been sent. (no marching orders)
What we Christians speak directly affect the lives of those around us and ourselves.  (I am not saying that God cannot bless someone without 'our' words to activate that blessing.  But in the bible, Jesus gave us dominion over our little part of this world.  It is our responsibility to do our part, as set out in God's plans for us and by the urging of the Holy Spirit.  We are God's hands and feet and mouth on this earth, and what we do here will be judged, and directly affect our rewards in heaven.)  I believe it was Shakespear who said "evil can only flourish when a good man does nothing."  He was correct.  Lethargy is responsible for most of man's destruction and undoing.  It is so in the spiritual realms also.
So when you begin to pray or speak, remember the 26 guards and pray or speak according to what you desire the angels of God to accomplish for you.  Always make your words line up with God's word.
"Every idle word we speak, God will judge us for" either now or later.  "You reap what you sow!"
When you see just how important every word you speak is, it takes a little of the 'fun' out of some of the garbage we speak, knowing that there are angels out there listening and performing what you speak or sitting back and letting satan's dark angels perform what you give him authority to do to you, when your words line up against God.  Satan will use every loophole you give to him to legally deceive or harm you.  Your angels protect you and help you according to what you 'say' in agreement with God's promises to you.
