A Psalm #1

October 12th, 2006

We desire real worship
Worthy for the King
Grateful for the mercy
Of the One condemned to die.

This One Who paid my debt
A debt filled to the max.
So lost in our despair
We cried into the air.

Yet, God, You heard our cry
Though, Your Name, we never spoke.
You answered us in time
And opened up our eyes.

The words I never spoke
Now easily do not come
So they will remain unuttered
Until my tongue is free of sin.

This is really bad. I don't think it flows at all, but I really don't care. It's not very characteristic of me, but I haven't written in a while so I think I'm out of my muse. Anywho...take what you will of it. it's a humble piece offered ultimately to my God...written in a moment of gratitude.
