So Tired of It

July 6th, 2005

I'm so tired of it,
So tired of it.
People judging each other
And fudging the numbers
Of this ironic track record.
We hold some chart
Showing all the wrongs done us.
I'm so tired of it,
So tired of it.

And I'm right there in the middle
Pointing my finger -
I fall for it every time.
I'm so tired of it.

I'm walking a fine line,
Treading it softly,
Aware that anything could
Set me off inside.
I'm on my guard,
Constantly looking out for me,
For me, the only important.
Yeah right.
I'm so tired of it.

And we judged You too -
Thought we would win,
Thought we were walking away,
Until You stood up and showed us.

Now we're angry
That You would dare pass the blame,
Like You have anything for us.

I'm so tired of it,
So tired of it.

This blame it triggers a nerve
And causes my pride to boil up
Inside.
Rather than take responsibility,
I toss to to one who is just the same
As me.

I'm so tired of it,
So tired of it.
