May I take a peak
Inside the gift You're preparing
For me to open someday?

Will we laugh together,

Whatever life brings?
Is he handsome and strong
Will he protect me when I'm scared?
Is he my knight in shining armor
When the world throws its spears?
Will he comfort me when I'm broken?
Will he let me love him true?
Will he be the strength of our family?
Will he seek You when he's weak?
Does a prayer rest on his lips
And is a song close to his heart?
Is his heart driven by You, Lord?
Is his greaest desire the nations?
So many questions fly through my mind,
My heart is searching to find only one answer.
