Walking with eyes set forward
Awakened by a sound from above
The peace and comfort of the words
Beckon to my heart
Lift up my eyes
But a shadow falls
The towering mountain
Looms overhead
Casting its gloom, its menace
Its power, its resolve
Onto me and I tremble
Still and small, the call returns
Just over the peak
"Will you come? Up here, now!"
Taking one step, one ledge
One crack and one glimpse
The heighth begins to fade
And I stand on the cliff
Spread eagle on the face
Pressed back by the wind
Basking in Your love
Trusting only in You
My Rock and Mountain
