| Dear Journal, I feel like my life is terrible, yet I have countless blessings given to me by God. Take this afternoon, I was walking home from school, and I saw my kitten run out in the street. I screamed, but the bus kept going. I loved her so much! At lunch, I spilled apple sauce all over my dress! I was so embarrased! Yesterday in the garden I was pulling weeds and must have pulled up posin ivy because it is covering my body. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, they did! I made an F on my science exam. | Well, I am feeling much better. I talked to Mom about it and she suggested I read the story about Job. When he was at the lowest point, things got worse and worse, then things started going up!! Even when Job's wife told him "Curse God and die" Job kept persisting and kept his faith in the Big Guy. Job was eventually rewarded for his faith in God, we too will be in Heaven. -Harlin |
