| Dear Journal- I heard Julie talking to Matt today at the lunch table. Julie said that I was overweight and have a big nose. It may sound silly, but it really hurt my feelings. I did not talk to Julie the rest of the day... I just can't help it- I don't talk about her, so why does she talk about me? -Harlin |
| Mom says that I didn't do anything wrong, except for not talking to Julie for the rest of the day. She told me to look at Ruth 3:11, people know that I am a good person. I don't have to teach Julie a lesson by not talking to her. "Gossip is like a snake's fangs," Psalm 140:3. Matthew 7:12 says "Do to others as you would have them do to you," I wouldn't want Julie to talk about me so I shouldn't talk about her!! -Harlin |
